Membership & Giving - Volunteer

The museum relies on the assistance, talent and enthusiasm of our dedicated volunteers. Volunteers can contribute in the following ways:

Tour Guide
Tour Guides help visitors explore our exhibits. They welcome visitors, answer questions, and offer 10-15 minute "highlight tours". Guides can also develop and offer more in-depth tours.
Volunteer Application

Administrative Volunteer
Administrative Volunteers help the museum run smoothly. This includes answering questions via telephone, preparing mailings, and assisting with research, scanning or filing.

Museum Ambassador (ages 14-18)
Museum Ambassadors (ages 14-18) engage visitors in hands-on exploration of artifacts and teaching materials at interactive Education Stations in our galleries.
Youth Volunteer Application

Interns get extensive hands-on experience and an in-depth look at the inner workings of a small museum. Internships are customized to meet the interest of the student and the needs of the museum. They can cover a wide array of topics, including Grants & Development, Education, Exhibts, Collections and Marketing/Social Media.
